Fast Emergency Responses Can Prevent Further Damage

It is crucial to report a water loss sooner than later in order to try and prevent further damage. Some materials may need to be removed and/or mold growth can occur. For this loss, only the cove base needed to be removed in order to dry the drywall behind it and prevent mold from growing. The wet carpet was able to be extracted without it needing to be removed. Drying equipment was placed in the room after extracting water from the carpet and removing the cove base. The equipment will be monitored  daily by the technicians until the readings show that the materials are dry.
