Racquetball Court Floods Due To Ground Water
This homeowner's indoor racquetball court flooded due to outside groundwater. There were several inches of standing water causing demolition to be needed to remove the wet materials. The loss caused damage to the court which needed the wood flooring and some fiberboard to be removed before it was able to be properly dried out. The sitting area was also affected as well and the carpet was removed prior to setting equipment. Dehumidifiers and air movers are set based on the size of the affected areas. Equipment usually sits for 3-5 days to properly dry out the remaining materials.
